The pictures are alright, but to be honest, I got better pics off my Ericsson W810i and that was only a 2MP. The light for the flash is really bright and can ruin the picture.

I'm not overly impressed with the phone, it's a bit top heavy and I find it hard to text sometimes because of the keys. Also, the predictive text randomly turns itself off or it doesnt store the words. But on the other hand, it does have some good features.

I much prefer Ericssons, but that's just my personal opinion. I'm sure other people will think Samsungs are good phones.

A couple of my colleagues have the phone as does my sister.

Its a nice looking phone and most of the features are fine. The camera though is seriously lacking. The slightest movement when taking the picture causes serious blurring and as someone else has already said the 'light/flash' seems to ruin a lot of the pictures.

I currently have a w810i so heh :P hm.. it does look a very nice phone but as both of you have said the camera seems to be lacking a fair bit...

I really am looking for a camera centered phone so the camera is probably 60% of the deciding factor for me, the nokia n95 looks nice but.. too big/expensive for my liking kind of thing, same for the sony ericsson k810i, seems too expensive also

I've got the sony ericcson K810i and I really like the camera on it. I didn't realise it was still expensive to buy though as it has been out for a while now.

Any of the sony ericcson cybershots are good cameras.

Sometimes with the G600, if the settings are on the highest for the camera, it takes a few seconds to take, and if you move, its blured!

I think if you already have a W810i, then you may be disappointed with the G600. I previously had the pink flip Samsung and didn't really get on with it so later upgraded to the W810i and loved the phone. I really don't know why I went back to Samsung but the G600 is a nice looking phone - shame I'd forgotten about all Samsung's bad points!

Personally, I would stick to Ericssons, but that's my opinion. Maybe you could chat with someone in store?
