ooo Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was class!! so adorable and the way she conducted them was so sweet

Niamh moved me to tears in Dont Cry For Me Argentina

C'mon Niamh- work really hard for next week- prove that you deserve to be in the final in a few weeks time

Niamh was great with the Olivers!

JB also seemed impressed with her agression in the stunt task. Well done Niamh for not getting flustered when she missed first time with the bottle.

Both girls looked very nervous in the sing off but for me Niamh has a better quality to her voice so I'm very pleased she was saved.

She needs a stellar performance next week so I hope she gets a great song and can really go for it.

Loved Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! I thought Niamh looked like their older sister but still in a 'maternal' way, doesn't really make sense but I think she worked well with them.

I so hope Niamh gets a great song next week and nails it; if she gets into the final and doesn't win I'll still be really happy! I'm quite sure she won't win so just to see her in the final would be lovely

Well personally I thought Niamh was brilliant performing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with the Olivers as well as her performance in the sing off.
She definately deserved to stay after that but I'm worried about next week now. The show is getting tougher now we're down to the last 5 and I have a feeling that if Niamh is in the bottom two then she's out.
I will be gutted but I'm really hoping she can make it.

I feel the same.

And what's worse is that I am away next weekend and can't vote for her.

Thats lovely superstar

I'd just like to add that I thought it was funny when Niamh ran after the guy with the bottle!

I'll be so choked when she eventually performs ALAHNM. Unless she makes the final and wins of course.

Don't worry, I'll put in an extra vote on your behalf.

Thanks Superstar111. Shame for you your fave got knocked out so close to the final. I hope you'll be voting for Niamh next week.

This is really nice, especially when you must be raw about your favourite going out.

I'm glad that ALW made some amends to Ash in his final words. The most important thing though is that she knows she did her best and no one can do more than that.

Aargh! I've returned to the sanity of this thread, the general attitude on practically every other thread is getting on my nerves so much!
Thought Niamh was great with the Olivers, the whole song just made me smile so much
Sing-off... well what can I say, I think she was streets ahead of Ashley, though she is amazing too, I'm not having a go at any of the girls, they are all really talented and are better at that than I could ever hope to be

Anyways, I had a thought during the sing of that I think Niamh would be really good in Evita - Her physical fragility and delicate-ness would work to her advantage and I think she is, or could be in the future, a good enough actor to take on such a complex role.

Yes. It's wild out there! I've a feeling that Niamh fans are going to have to wear hard hats on this forum all week.

Anyway, enough doom and gloom - Niamh was great this weekend and IMO unlucky to be in the sing-off. None of the girls were great this week.

It was great that the Olivers chose Niamh and I think that, along with JB's strong support this week, will give her more confidence despite being in the bottom two.

I thought niamh was great tonight! So glad she was picked to sing with the Olivers (Curse of the olivers? ) And got the thumbs up from ALW Also Jonny is my favourite Oliver and think Niamh is his fave, so would be cool if they were Nancy/oliver

I just wanted to say that, although I haven't liked Niamh up till now, I saw something different in her when she did Chitty. It just shows that MT songs can show the girls in a completely different light - we should be seeing more of these than the pop songs that just don't do them justice. New respect for Niamh!

Yay, Jonny and Niamh are my favourite too!

It certainly is quite mad in other threads on the forum, apart from the people in here and a few others, no one seems to like Niamh a lot! I can see why people think she isn't suited to Nancy, but when there are comments as plain as "she can't sing" it annoys me as all of the girls left clearly can.

Yeah, cos that's why she's got grade 8 singing

We clearly have good taste I want them to win With Chester and Alex/Gwion as the other olivers

Exactly!

I want Chester as well, with Harry as the third. We were almost there! Jonny does seem to like Niamh, he's commented on her a few times and everytime I just think "Go Jonny!"

Yeah, he called her his favourite last week and then she was the one shown when he was speaking tonight

I really hope he goes through, surely they're just saving a good one til last

Hello.
Its nice to see a positive change in opinion towards Niamh.
I agree with you about the songs, I wish they were performing MT songs every week because they do show the girls in a different light, after all this isn't the X Factor so having them sing pop songs every week isn't really doing them much justice in a way.

I think he will get the last place, Cameron mentioned him last week and this week so hopefully he'll be through
If Jonny gets the last hat and Niamh avoids the sing off next week, I'll be really happy!

LOL he does
I'll be really annoyed/gutted if he doesn't, he's one of the best overall, let alone out of the ones left!
Shame he never got through this week, could've had him and Niamh together
