Hehe, I think she does really interact well with them, despite people saying she doesn't. I thought it was great performance. However it does seem to be a case of 'The Curse of the Olivers'!

I know Can you not just see it (if they do it) next week......no one will want to be chosen LOL Bit ironic really seeing as the potential leads have just chosen them as the girl they'd most like to play aloong side

She did do great with them I thought!

Haha yeah, if they do it again next week I think they could choose any of the Nancys except maybe not Rachel.

I'm so hoping Niamh will give an amazing performance next week; if she were to get through to the final I'd be so happy regardless of whether or not she won. Of course I'd love it if she did win but if she managed to get all the way to the final I'd be really pleased

Random question, when will the results show be on iPlayer? I always record Niamh's songs onto my computer and the sing-offs never on youtube so need to get it off iPlayer to put on my earpod

I'm still not convinced by the idea of Niamh as Nancy but I certainly warmed to her doing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. That was something of an eye opener.

She also stood out in Nobody Does It Better for her movement. While the others were rather walking around slighly aimlessly in Bananarama fashion (or it the case of Samantha just standing around with a permanent look-at-me smile), she was really slinking around. Whether the slinking around was really appropriate was another matter but it certainly got her noticed.

In a show where none of the girls really excelled themselves I think Niamh was a little unfortunate to be in the sing-off. Ashley had to be there and it should have been Rachel with her, with Samantha running them close.
Although Don't Cry For Me Argentina wasn't necessarily suited to Niamh's voice as much as it was Ashley's, I think she sold the song so much better that it was not really a contest. ALW is dead right about Ashley not connecting with the words. Having failed badly with Hey Big Spender she wasn't even close with this one.

For me Niamh should be in the top three with Jessie and Jodie. I don't actually like Jodie's performances that much but I like Samantha and Rachels a lot less. I am still not convinced that any of them are Nancy in a Shani Wallis style, but then her portrayal wasn't what you'd call convincing either, however well done it was otherwise.

I'm not sure, but if you go on http://uk.youtube.com/user/MissAVuk?ob=1, that person puts all the performances on quite quickly (sing off isn't there yet but probably will be soon) and puts the MP3s as well. It's where I get Niamh's performances from

Love Niamh even more now!! John was right to big up her performance in the mission. It was great to see she kept in character and kept going even after she made a mistake, especially since they keep on going on about Jessie panicking. I think she's more than proved now that she's not as fragile as everyone thinks. I think her performance with the boys was awesome too!

She was great in the mission! Part of me thinks Niamh will go next week, but then part of me think she'll come back stronger and pull a fantastic performance out of the bag and she'll avoid the sing off. Hopefully the latter is correct

ALW seems to have turned on rachel, and im guessing rachel will be in the bottom 2 next week, so if niamh is then i'm staying positive that he will save her

stupid V+ cut off half way through sing off and its not on youtube yet or bbc iplayer so im really desperate to watch it (i know the reuslt but still want to see it)

She didnt really come across as a mother in chitty bang bang but then nancy wasnt ther mother just a female figure who was around - which is kinda how i saw niamh - someone who would look after them but more like a sister than mother

i think ALW really likes niamh - maybe she isnt his ideal nancy but i think he knows she has great potential

she seems to have a nice personality
Apparently she doesn't.....

She's still one of my favourites just based on the show though....

From what I've seen on the TV / web she's got lots of both.

And the appreciation thread isn't the right place for disparaging remarks!

i was quoting someone else and asking how they came to that conclusion
i said niamh had potential and seemed nice and then someone said "apparently she doesnt" - it wasnt actually me saying it

Sorry I realise this is an appreciation thread so it's probably not the right place to say that kind of thing!

I meant the personality though, not the potential, which I happen to think she has tons of.

how do you know about her personality?

to me she's always come across as lovely, i know a good few people who know her, either personally or just know of her, and they are all full of praise for her

she comes across as having a really nice personality - like when she was excited at seeing celine dion, and she wasnt overly competitive in the clip for the group song

I was just supporting what you said everything I've seen of Niamh suggests she's really nice (and she seems tougher and more determined than she gets credit for).

Tough words from Niamh!

She seems so determined, hopefully that's going to pay off this week and she'll avoid the sing off

about time we see a fiesty side
im pretty confident ALW would save her if against jodie/rachel in a singoff unless naimh was REALLY, but i hope it wont come to that as she will avoid the sing off

Just a question, because the survivor of the sing off gets to do a video diary, will Niamh get another one? Or will it go to someone else?
