Love Niamh's article about being feisty!!

Did anyone else think it was really sweet on Saturday when

a) She blew the kiss at the end of her solo (was that to the Olivers, to Sam, or to family- didnt see her family, she was singing facing the Olivers with Sam behind)

and b) when she squealed at the Celine Dion pic and she got really excited- my mum went "Niamh luv, it's just a pic"

ahh right, thanks

I couldn't see her family during that and all I could see were the boys with Sam behind and thought it was one of them

but it was most likely to her parents then

I thought it was lovely when she blew the kiss, don't know who it was to though! It was so cute when the picture came up, she was just like "there she is!"

hehe yeah

it kinda reminded me, and made me say

"Oh yeah, Niamh's only 17."

shes still a kid (at least until June ), and her performances and the way she carries herself through each week with such confidence (despite her previous self-esteem problems) makes me forget how young she really is, and how much of a journey she's on right now.

It also made me annoyed, Niamh's 17. The people on this forum are being vile about her. And to say "if she cant take it she shouldnt be here" is no use, criticism (sp?) is fine, but when they're being downright nasty, Niamh could really take offence and be hurt if she saw it. (especially as she probably already is due to being in the sing-off)

ok rant over

people seem to have a real problem with niamh, and if she stays in this week then the maoning will get even worse, at least the least favourite poll isnt as bad as i thought - from peoples comments i thought she would be the least favourite by miles but its not that bad

Well I hope Niamh stays in this week, even if it is just to annoy people.

It was like in the XF, I loved Same Difference and wanted them to win. My brother wasn't a big fan (he likes them now tho ) but it got to the stage that people online and Louis Walsh slated them so much that he wanted them to win to annoy these people

Hopefully that happens with Niamh

what I dont understand is on the IDA site and people I've talked to in person, loads of them want Niamh to win. Why's she in the sing-off then!?

Yeah, if Niamh stays this week I think people on here might get even nastier, and I don't like reading the rude comments. I feel sorry for her personally and then just in general that my favourite gets so much criticism!

Lol I absolutely love Same Difference as well
I know, Niamh seems fairly popular on the website and things like YouTube, and a lot of my friends like her. Hopefully all these people will vote for her this week!

I still hope she stays though I do feel sorry for her though! It's like when leon got all that criticism on here, yet he still went on to win XF

All my friends at school today said they thought Niamh shouldn't have been bottom 2, even the ones who don't like her! Most agreed with me it should've been Jessie or Rachel instead

I fully adore SD I'm gonna marry Sean (Sarah's agreed 2b my bridesmaid hahaha)

Yeah, its weird tho how she has support but then ends up in the bottom- people arent hitting "redial" enough

Just had a thought R.E my post above, and the card for Niamh.

What about if I made her a card, and you guys could all PM me wee things and we all had input in it, like you could all PM me messages for her??

My friend and me sent Niamh a letter and some pictures and things, I think we cursed her though because she ended up in the bottom two.

I love your idea of the PMs and the card, I'd do it!

Missed out making a comment on Niamh this week. She did very well in her song and I had hoped she wouldn't make the bottom 2 but alas.

Sunday was good for her with almost 80% coverage from Bottlegate through Chitty Chitty to Argentina. Can't but help her having that amount of exposure.

Realistically....we gotta discuss the voting..

Based on what has happened to date and a few polls, it looks like Jodie is the leader then Sam followed by Jessie, with Rachel/Niamh fighting close for bottom place.

My view is that ALW had hoped to ditch Jodie for Rachel (a more professional back up position for him) but with Jodies' support, he had to rethink his strategy. This week he was shooting from the hip and held nothing back in his comments. Firstly on Niamh, he was forewarning her of impending elimination.

He is also aware that Rachel and Niamh are fighting for the same vote, both being from Gr. Belfast, so I think his sudden turn on Rachel is his get out clause. If, as I expect, Rachel and Niamh are bottom again, I get the impression (and so far he has always ditched the older girl), that he will save Niamh once more.

Jodie is his older back up girl now, so Rachel is becoming expendable (unless he gets Jodie to do a High School Musical number) and I think Niamh can reach the semi final. But that may be as far as she gets since ALW's new young golden girl is clearly Sam.

Any thoughts?

I think if it boiled down to Rachel and Niamh, ALW would save Niamh aswell

But I dunno, thats just me hoping!

EDIT: LMFAO at Jodie and HSM

against jodie and rachel there is avery good chance she will be saved, but then will he keep saving someone who will have been in the bottom two that many times

against sam and jessie - she stands no chance

I have PMed some of you about sending a card to Niamh.

I will be making this card tonight and tomorrow, hopefully posting it on Wednesday.

If you want to be involved in supporting Niamh, just send me a PM with your name, age and location, and a message for Niamh.

It can be as short or long as you want

I think if a Rachel/Niamh or Jodie/Niamh sing off occured, Niamh would stand a chance. ALW did not seem to favour Rachel at all this week, and I think it's clear he's not Jodie's biggest fan. If Niamh were against Jessie or Sam though, she'd be out. I think Niamh is skating on thin ice now, but hopefully she'll come bouncing back this week with a feisty performance. She might just make the final
