Can't beat me. For personal reasons, Sarah from Same Difference became a sort-of idol to me when she was on the XF (still is). I met her, and what did I do? Burst into tears

Met her again and was like "Look!! No crying!!" hehe

Awww haha It went better the second time though. Cool. I haven't met many famous people at all. Hardly any in fact although you do see em walking round London.

We saw Gail Platt from Corrie in London... no? Not very exciting? Haha. I agree. But it was her. Its funny cuz someone goes 'did you see who that was?' Im like 'no'. They go 'ohhh what's their name?' I go 'I don't know do I!' Haha. You do see em about though. I saw a news reader on the tube. Haha.

I agree but I guess its important for her to focus on her exams now she's out of the competition then full steam ahead.
At least now she's no longer in the show she can put her full concentration into her exams and do really well.

Just got back from my trip and I have been watching the show on i-Player.

I'm very sad to see Niamh leave the show but not surprised. Although they were initially very supportive of Niamh playing a different type of Nancy, over the last few weeks it has been clear that ALW does not see her in this role.

Niamh was great in the sing-off and very positive in her exit interview. I'm sure we'll see her being very successful in the future. I can't wait to see what she does next.

Showed her skipping thru the airport to her family and friends, bless her she was so happy

Get this! 2 exams on Thursday, one on Friday, it said she was flying back to London to sit the Friday exam there.

She said (something like)

"The future's a question mark right now, but, I'm really greatful, I've been offered so many opportunities that I wouldn't have without I'd Do Anything."

Aaww. In spite of everything I'm sure she'll be delighted to be home. Really glad she's doing those exams. They'll hold her in good stead for the future.

Good luck to Niamh with her exams. Ahhh isn't she wonderful.

She was on GMTV like 15 mins later, saying how she was so chuffed with herself for getting so far, and how overwhelmed she was by all the support she had, particularly the wonderful reception she got at the airport

(Lots of friends and family with balloons etc, and I think some people came up and asked for pics and stuff)

Ohhh I've missed all these interviews. Glad she's happy though.
