Not a bank holiday for us

Hi all
Sorry lilhunni_Jo. If it's any consolation I have soooo much work to do today because I was away on Saturday and Sunday. My 4th wash is in the machine, the 2nd and 3rd are on the line and I need to start ironing the 1st soon or there will be no school uniforms ready for tomorrow. On the bright side the sun is shining and the wind blowing so I don't have to use the tumble dryer.

Haha it's okay, I'm on exam leave so it doesn't make too much of a difference, just means I'm home alone. We had a bank holiday last monday
Poor you having so much work to do Although at least the weather's good, that's not supposed to happen on bank holidays

Really looking forward to that too and I'm sure they'll have a great song. I loved the performance the eliminated Josephs gave last year. Sorry about your weather Holly Oaks, that's not fair.

Hi Lou, yes I've just watched it again and she was fantastic in it. Really stood out as she did for me in most of the group numbers.

Hey all! Busy day here by the looks of it. Nice to see. I've been out at Nan's and Grandpa's today. Had lunch and watched bit of Sound Of Music and imagined Niamh singing! She was amazing in my mind! Haha. Not seen it for years. Hope you're all well.

I watched the Sound of Music on the Beeb earlier. It made me imagine Niamh as Liesl.

Holly Oaks - I'd definately like to hear Niamh sing classical too, I think she'd be brilliant.

Yeah, I really wish Niamh had got a song from West Side Story. I think she could have sung it in a more classical style like Natalie Wood did in the film and it would have blown everyone away.

I was reading earlier that Lesley Garrett, the opera singer, is only 5'4". That's 2" shorter than Niamh and I don't remember hearing anyone say she's too fragile. LOL

Agreed with both points. Something like that would have been beautiful.

I never saw Niamh as fragile at all. I think she put up a good fight for 8 weeks

It's funny Holly Oaks, I'm quite small, shorter than Niamh and was a similar build to her at that age and noone ever accused me of being fragile either. Something about having 4 brothers perhaps?
