Not sad at all. I don't even look anywhere else on here other than this thread. I'm not a fan of any of the other girls. Don't want to hear them sing. I've not downloaded anyone's songs other than Niamh and I don't watch anyone else on youtube. I'm slightly obsessed. Niamh is my current obsession. Haha.

Haha. The obsession stage is always a nice stage. Although it was even more for me a couple of weeks ago. Lou knows a bit more about that. Lou, I'm sure you'll be happy to know I feel much better about it all now. Got my appetite back and don't feel constantly sick all the time now. It got quite bad! Writing her the letter (just writing it, let alone sending it) helped a lot and it was about Thursday, maybe Friday I started to feel better. On Sunday for about 20 seconds I had those intense feelings again and it scared the hell out of me, but it went. Phew. Hard to explain how it feels.

I'm just obsessed now!

Get past the song and from 1:40 onwards we see Niamh. She's wonderful. Looks amazing!!! Like i've said before, this was definitely Niamh's sexy week! This week of course: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=GEE0wKnUQZM Phwoar! Anyone who thinks Sam's the sexiest needs to watch that again! ”

Hi everyone. I can't watch youtube at work so I've only got to check out your links now Ben. You're right about week 2, Niamh was gorgeous that week. Think she must have liked it too as that was the picture she sent Lou. Watching the clip I've just realised that was the first week the F (fragile) word was used. It was Denise, damn her. Also really evident what a d!ck Barry is. He hadn't a clue and just waffled on to make noise. I really hope there's a good group number on Saturday that lets her shine.

Yeah, the dreaded F word! Haha. Silly people.

Niamh will show 'em on Saturday night who should have won. Can't wait!!!

If I was ALW, I would've cancelled the competition and given the role of Nancy to Niamh as soon as I saw her perform Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with the Olivers!!!

It showed me absoloutely everything I wanted Nancy to be - a young girl, not much older than Oliver, who Fagin's boys look up to so much and yet has to cope with so much herself at such a young age.

Fran was my favourite, but once she went I became addicted to Niamh's voice! It's got such a unique and whole quality she could easily have captivated the theatre. And then I go and find out that she can act and perform comedy too!

With Niamh more than the other Nancys, I'm equally as excited as well as gutted at her exit: she's still so young and clearly with a phenomenal future ahead - I'm excited to find out where such an amazing voice is going to take her!

Fantastic post, lovely to read.

I thought Niamh was brilliant with the Olivers, and all the people on DS saying it seemed forced between them; I couldn't agree less. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang showed Niamh's ability to work well with the boys, and I thought it was a lovely performance. Niamh has such a unique, listenable voice and has great acting skills. She will go so far, with such an amazing voice and only 17 years old - the future is extremely bright for Niamh.

Awww. That was lovely to read. She's got a big future. Her performance with the Olivers is up on Youtube if you didn't already know.

I've watched it too many times already - and it's, ashamedly, in my top ten most played on iTunes!

I particularly like when they're following her around the studio! I think she interacts so well with them precisely because the age gap between them isn't too large - she treats them more maturely than say Jodie or Ashley, particularly when explaining there reasons to perform with the Olivers.

Hope you guys will all be able to keep me update with Niamh news! Thanks.

I think that's why they chose her to be honest. I love it sooo much and i thought that would turn things round for her but it didn't unfortunately. I thought she proved how amazing she is.

I love that bit too, makes me smile.

I would have loved to see Niamh as Nancy, but Nancy isn't a huge part and only has one major song so I'm not too disappointed. I think she's got a very positive future ahead of her! If she's offered a pop career (a lot of people seem to think she'd be better suited as a pop star) I hope she doesn't take it, I think she's too good to be a pop star!

I would be very disappointed if she did become a pop star because she's too good to be mixed in with that lot. I would be happy for her if that's what she decided to do but well, like you, i just think she's much too good for all that. I don't understand how people can say she's a better pop star. Don't want to hurt Sam fans, i know there are many in here, but i personally see Sam as a pop star, certainly not Niamh.

Good morning everyone. I wasn't able to get on to DS last night at home. Internet Explorer kept saying the server was down. I was thinking what have I said? have they banned me? Anyway I'm at work now and it's working fine so who knows.

Trawling the internet last night I found another Niamh appreciation thread of sorts, very funny it's all rugby players. Have a look. http://www.uafc.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7433

I don't think Niamh will settle for a pop career at least until she's fulfilled her dream of West End stardom.

Rugby players might have strange ears but they must still work.

Nothing wrong with your Internet I shouldn't imagine, its just playing up. Internet does that from time to time. Silly thing!

Yeah, I'd love Niamh to release a Cd but not until she's made it big. And then don't go releasing singles and stuff.

I loved this from that UAFC thread
