Niamh Perry shines bright and radiently in the role of Sophie

Niamh Perry was a charming and naive Sophie who manipulates her three 'dads' beautifully.

Niamh Perry continues to shine in the role of Sophie, a vibrant and confdent performance that is full of depth and nuance
Niamh is very special in this. She commands the stage and keeps Sophie's story at the forefront - instead of letting it get submerged by Donna, as often happens. She sings beautifully, plays the character and story convincingly throughout, and she's a pretty nifty dancer these days too. Well worth seeing.
Niamh is now doing some publicity for the Irish part of the tour. Next is South Africa.
The tour iteself has filled in more gaps - adding Amman, Tel Aviv, Trieste and Lisbon to the 2015 menu.
It now goes to
Johannesburg , SA 24 /3 - 26/4 2015
Amman , Jordan 14 - 16 May 2015
Belfast , 16 - 20 June 2015
Dublin 23 /6 - 4 /72015
Derry, 7 - 11 July 2015
Ostend , Belgium 21 /7 - 9 /8 2015
Tel Aviv, Israel 20/ 8 - 5/9 2015
Milan , 24 /11- 6 / 12 2015
Triese, Italy 9 - 13 December 2015
Lisbon , Portugal 12 - 17 January 2016
No idea how long Niamh is staying for - but I don't see them finding a better Sophie. Although it would be nice to see a Nancy in the West End again soon.
Next year the UK tour stop seems to be Bristol.
