I'm loving Jason. Agree about the eyes, just gorgeous.

He's getting by on looks and the twinkly eyes. He's got one of the weakest voices in the competition.

...but I suspect he gets away with a heck of a lot because of his charisma - and those eyes. He needs a wake up call. he's cruising and not trying hard enough!

Jason has been my favorite since auditions. He is from my state, Texas. I do think he will be in trouble if he does not step up and try something new. Though I love his laid back way, Simon wants to see something more. The competition is stiff.

Jason's my favourite too. I am under no illusion that he'll win, but I hope he can stay in the competition a bit longer.

He does a good performance tonight, I'm told. I'd like to see him win but, like you, I don't think he's captured the imagination of the American public yet. Maybe he will after tonight

His song was absolutely beautiful this week and he did quite a good job with his bit of the Rhiana song on the IGB show .. so who knows he could surprise a lot of people and go further than they expected.

Chi ... I love Jason's studio recordings .... his voice just sounds so lovely in them, although I could have done without the backing singers on SOTR, it should have just been him and his ukulele ... perfection

I thought Jason was outstanding this week. Loved his performance of Over The Rainbow. I've never heard this version before but liked it very much.

On the results show last night Jason said that he just bought the ukulele a week ago ... so props to him for picking it up in a week ..... I know he can already play the guitar, but it still must have been quite difficult.

Also watch at the beginning of the show when Ryan walks along the line of contestants and says "This is American Idol" .... Jason is trying not to laugh and impersonates Ryan behind his back ....

.... I love his personality and laid back attitude.
