Radio controlled clock-time change failed
Can anyone explain why our radio time controlled clock failed to update last night (or today). This has always worked before, and the unit is in the same location.

Might have something to do with the move of the transmitter from Rugby to Cumbria. Thought this took place many months ago so you should have noticed if the clock had lost reception - when BST ended last year for example!
This has caused no end of problems for loads of people however. Clocks that previously worked OK now not getting a good enough signal to work properly. I have one at home plus my watch both of which updated perfectly. But at work I look after several more and whereas they used to update OK hanging on the walls, now the only place I can guarantee to be able to reset them is to take them up to the roof space and sit them on one of the air con units and leave them there for anything up to ten minutes! And don't forget the battery, loss of reception is one sign it may be on it's way out. And with the added burden of lower signal anyway thanks to the transmitter move a good battery is even more essential. |

Ok, well it did eventually update - like on Monday. Just a few days late then. Might change the battery just to be safe.
