Director's Cut to Andrew...
DanielWhit
30-03-2008
Hi,

Did anyone notice that at every point in last nights show during performances that the camera cut to Andrew that he seemed to be yawning, grimicing, or generally looking like he didn't expect to be on camera?

I could picture the director on auto-pilot for the majority of the performances and just looking out for when he seems bored and made a quick cut to him.

Or maybe it was just me...

It's been the same on each of the series! His facial expressions are hilarious, he certainly doesn't hide his true feelings very well

Strange because I hadn't noticed it quite so obviously until last night.

They are truely fantastic to watch though. Such a variety of face-pulling.

Agreed, he doesnt hide what he thinks. Last year there was a montage of his expressions, hopefully we will see more this year.

I love Andrew Lloyd Webber anyway, but I have to say I love all the faces he pulls. You don't quite know whether he loves or hates the performances as the contestants or singing. Sometimes he looks a bit pervy though hahaha.

I think this is the shows USP. Who'd have thought ALW could be so entertaining.

My DH and I have always found his expressions hilarious - I would love them to just have him on screen in a little box in the corner or somethin during their performances, as I think it would tell us a lot more about his true feelings for them, than just the occasional shot does.

That is so true. I think alot of people may think him to be a bit stuffy and have no sense of humour because he's a composer, but I think he's hilarious.

Although sometimes his facial expressions alternate between him looking like he's got wind or he's having an orgasm

Not being unkind, but ALW always looks like he's pulling a face.

It's weird though because every time he looks generally disappointed, i'm expecting him to say he didn't like it, but then he turns around and says it was a really great performance

He looks well pervy when the girls are gyrating.

I love him. His facial expressions are hilarious! He's the only judge they cut to and he usualy looks suprised or nervous for the contestants. ALW and Graham = Magic!

ALW and Graham are amazing for facial experssions, there was a bad audition and it cut to Graham and his face was hilarous! Yet can't beat the lord.

ALW should be a guest on the Graham Norton show when that returns!

He pulls these faces, like he is hating their perfromace, but he always says how great they are after.

Every Saturday, I love ALW just a little bit more hahahaha.

He's not only a genius, but he's also a legend.

Did anyone else notice that Graham Norton stopped referring to him as 'The Lord' last night and was calling him Andrew?
