Because Oliver Twist was not brought up in a Welsh orphanage so he would not have a Welsh accent.

Has anyone changed their initial thoughts/preferences after this show ?
Also think Niamh is hugely over-rated and am baffled as to how Amy got this far as her voice is so far removed from what a Nancy needs that I have no idea what the producers saw in her. Francesa has so much more depth. |

Amy starts the sing off song so badly, she should have walked after the first line! Francesca is singing this far better than her original song!!

Why do they announce who had the lowest public vote - surely not trying to influence judges

Why did they announce who got the lowest public vote.. they never do that... and asking the panel who should go..... she was pretty mediocre but WTF did Amy do to merit this kind of assassination???

Amy is a gonner. I like the fact they tell you who got the least votes.
I find it interesting, too..... but it seems cruel

Franceasca sounds better. I hope she doesn't suffer from her association with Denise Van Outen.

OK ... so for Maria we had the trauma of So Long Farewell
And for the Holy Joe's we had Close every door... What the schnuff are these girls gonna say their goodbyes... And for my money ... Amy goes, Fran should stay - that was beautifully measured by her... and soooo cruel the irony ... Tell me on a Sunday... |

That was absolutely terrible from Amy. Screechy and tuneless.
Francesca wasn't great but deserves to live to fight another day. |

Yes, a little bit. I now actively like Jodie rather than just thinking she's OK.
Also think Niamh is hugely over-rated and am baffled as to how Amy got this far as her voice is so far removed from what a Nancy needs that I have no idea what the producers saw in her. Francesa has so much more depth.
