His body will dissintigrate. He's the living dead as long as his body can still finction. But after that I don't think it could.

WOW!!! sums up that whole episode...that was sooo worth the wait. Extremely sad, I see what they meant about the final scenes being heartbreaking..I was in tears. Is Owen really gone??
James Marsters was fab in it to, I want him back at TW, and although nasty, Grey was pretty nice looking lol but Jacks better

That's what annoys me about Torchwood. Half the time it shows great promise, half the time it's dire. At least Dr Who has the excuse that it's for a family audience - I'm happy with the half that's fine, but Torchwood doesn't have that excuse.

Yes, a good ending for fans, but it's pretentious because it's only been two seasons and of that, half hasn't advanced the characters, so we're being manipulated into emoting over badly drawn sketches of people.

I've got a feeling that this series will be the best. Partly due to the finale.

They better not even think about doing that or I will be very angry...and they wouldn't like me when I'm angry!!!

Great ending. Owen pretty much HAD to die (How long could they keep up the whole 'dead but not exactly dead, easily damaged, can't repair' thing?), and Tosh not suffering perma-angst over her unrequited love for Owen would have been a bit dull. Killing a character or characters off is always better than writing them out, only to bring them back in a half-baked storyline when their acting career's gone up the spout... that said, good acting all round, apart from the actor playing Gray- Awful! After they buried Jack, he would have made a good tombstone, you know?
Oh, and I had a lump in my throat, if I'm being honest. Lol.

And you're still watching why? Aside from to just whinge because Chris Chibnall didn't tailor the episode to your requirements? Which, is far more pretentious an aspiration than the show has ever displayed.

The death scenes were well done imo. I finally started to like the Tosh character. Up until now I've absolutely detested her. JB is still managing to contain the 'panto' thank goodness.

But aside from that I was a bit disappointed. I felt they wasted the Gray character and I wasn't over impressed with the actor. The dialog was weak. I preferred the 'old' Captain John, before he became a fully paid up member of the Cult of Captain Jack.

Not bad, but not the best TW has offered. Disappointing for a finale.

I still think the surpise of the next series will be the resurrection of Owen and the return of Gray and James Marsters... But these elements will be kept secret until the last minute...

Im really sad they killed Owen and Tosh...I like Tosh, how the heck are they going to cope without all her knowledge??! And I seriously warmed to Owen in series2, after a huge dislike in series 1...I think its a shame that after building on the characters so much this series they are just killed off

Definetely, I have a feeling this TW episode will be better than the first DW episode.

I've just been onto iplayer and saw the space pig reference! I missed it before. That's a nice little reference to Tosh/DW. I just can't believe they killed off 2 characters!

It's a shame that Owen is dead, Burn Gorman is a very good actor and Owen was an interesting character. I personally really like Gwen and prefer her anyday to Tosh who I found dull - she did act her final scenes very well though
