I mean come on.

Gay boys running around Cardiff chasing aliens.
Torchwood is a show designed by RTD for his mates.

This week's Torchwood in a nutshell!

how pathetic...so in the light of the very good ratings for TW you decided one thread suggesting it might be axed wasn't enough and went back more than a year looking for another one?

Sad really.

Some people just take things far too seriously!

It's a TV programme! Whether it is axed or not - I will have little say in the decision making process! Not that I really care, I am neither campaigning for it to be axed nor for it to be re-instated - I really don't mind either way. My opening gambit was to ask whether anyone thought it would face the chop for 3 reasons:

1, Because genre TV is taking a bit of kicking at the moment
2, Because cheaper reality TV is all the rage at the moment
3, Because we are going through a global recession and budgets are tight

I rate TW far higher that reality TV, but as sci-fi drama I find it somewhat lacking. This from someone who has watched every episode from the beginning - so I have given the programme the benefit of the doubt - but little has improved since the beginning imho.

Am I?

I thought this was a forum for debate. If putting up a view that the majority do not agree with - then yep - my bad!

FFS Thor, surely by now you must have learnt that you cannot hold your own opinion? let alone express it on here?
Such behaviour is very unfavourable.
Please keep your thoughts and negative comments to yourself.
Positive thoughts and general agreement only please.

Damn! I forgot the rules - my mistake! Scatterbrains me!

So, as I was saying, Torchwood - best show EVER. Totally underrated! It should run for YEARS. And I bet it will get ratings close to the 20 million mark.

Tssk. What was I thinking.
