Orange Woman SO Fake! (PAYG)

Just decided to start using an old Orange sim/phone again and the posh lady ("hallo!") has gone to be replaced by this husky voiced "I'm your best mate" Sarah beeny sound-a-like.

Her faux-friendliness is teeth gratingly awful, when did posh-bird go and is she still there on contract Orange?

Haha!

The posh bird you are refering to was called Jane - and unfortunately Orange decided to say they no longer required her services last year.

They then introduced Ruth who is the girl that records for our IVR now. A lot of customers didn't like the change and have either registered that feedback or voted with their feet. However on the whole her introduction was welcomed by the majority of customers.

Unfortunately Jane is no longer on contract either I'm afraid.

Thanks for that, obviously it all happened some months ago!

Posh-bird annoyed me a bit because she would say "Hallo" instead of "hello" but that was the only issue.

Apparently (Googling) she was called Jane Copland (you knew that of course ) and according to http://www.excellentvoice.co.uk/voiceartist.php?id=43

...she has "One of the smoothest, creamiest, deepest, most luxurious female voices you'll ever find."

I would agree.

EDIT: The new voice is Ruth Gibson for those that are interested.

I very much so don't like her voice not just that she also does not speak clearly. I would of course love to say a lot more but im censored.
