Glaze for a tea loaf??
I've recently got a breadmaker, & I'm loving making my own bread. I'm now trying my hand at making tea loaves & fruit breads. I found a wonderful recipe someone had posted on DS, this turned out brilliantly, but I'd love to add one of those sticky glazes on the top. I've found honey & golden syrup mentioned as a topping but is there anything else I could use? I thought there was a sort of hot water with sugar you could mix up. Any ideas would be much appreciated thanks

Ooh those hot cross buns look lovely. I'll give that glaze a go, looks just the sort of thing I was after, I never thought it would be milk you used in it. Many thanks
