I've just bought as packet of Ebly to try as I thought it would make a change from rice and pasta.

Has anyone tried it and got any nice recipes??

I've been using it for years, no real recipe as such, tend to use it instead of pasta or rice when I fancy a change. I particularly like it with my home-made pancetta pasta sauce - yum yum

If you're making a stew or casserole in a slow cooker (or a casserole dish for that matter), bung in some uncooked ebly and it absorbes the excess water making the stew/casserole thicker and the ebly tastes great as it'll have absorbed the flavourings too.

I haven't seen ebly in the shops for ages so I always bung in Pearl barley which is very similar and does exactly the same job
