I feel sorry for Marcus this series!

I bet he is bored out of his wits by doing all the voice narrative this series lol!

His always saying........Scott goes back to bed

Federriiico and Reeeeeh are in the girls bedroom

The whole Marcus bentley thing was funny in BB1,
in BB2, you were glad to hear him back,
in BB3, you found that the joke was wearing thin.
Then in BB4, it just seemd stupid to have him there.

This series hasnt failed too much in terms of ratings, but it has failed in its quest to be an interesting and compelling television programme.
Mainly because its becoming stale.

I think certain pieces of the forumla that has become so well known over the years, like Davina presenting, Marcus doing voiceovers are going to be changed next year, it needs to be fresh, and if they are going to a new house and evrything, now is the chance to do it.

I say keep Davina and Marcus, they help to make BB what it is.

He's redundant when the time is clearly in the lower corner of the screen and his narrative is stating the obvious. We get a shot of Scott in bed and marcus tells us the time and that Scott is in bed. The length of time Marcus takes to deliver a narrative statement we could have had more audio of housemates. It might not have been the best BB for audio clips this year but C4 viewers don't get much and Marcus takes up too much time.
I don't mind him starting off the show and ending it but there's no need for him to announce that BB called soand so to the diary room if we can see them getting bollocked by BB in the diary room. It just seems superfluous. Unless it's simply providing subtitles for the hard of thinking.

he is completely pointless now and slows the show down. Its not his fault, his script is rubbish. But his voice has become annoying now too. When he is talking I am always thinking "pointless, move on, hurry up and get to some actual event". He tells me useless facts. Hope he goes next year along with Davina.

I can't imagine BB without his voice...It would be funnier if he added his own views of the hm's and what the got up to

Has anyone else noticed that from time to time at the end of the C4 show it doesn't sound like him - as if he was unavailable to record the voting number voice over and someone else did it in an imitation geordie accent?

i've noticed that he doesn't do the phone numbers all of the time, but i haven't noticed that they have tried to do a geordie accent....

Why Does everyone here seem to blame Marcus Bentley for the dull scripts? He's a voiceover 'artist' (lol) . He goes into a booth for a couple of hours each afternoon to read a script prepared by Endemol, over a film prepared by Endemol, then goes home!...nice work if you can get it!

Just read on BB Live & Interactive that Marcus will be on BBLB tonight.

Not a very good interview if i may say so, but at least they must read the DS forums!
