A friend of mine is cooking a recipe involving prosciutto & taleggio cheese and another frined of mine isn't too keen on cheese (I know how can someone NOT be keen on cheese? )

Off the top of my head I don't actually remember having either of those cheeses before so cannot "describe" the taste to her!!

Any cheese connissuers want to help me out?

Taleggio is gorgeous!

Melted on potatoes... yum.

It's like the gorgonzola you wouldn't mind getting to know better.

No but seriously - for me, it's somewhere between a creamy ripe brie type cheese and a blue cheese - lots of flavour and also incredibly unctuous, especially when warmed.

Lucky friend!
