Toadie and Dee's horror wedding _the full story!
enyafreak
22-07-2003
Neighbours has a long tradition of pulling off its deaths and weddings in spectacular style and when the opportunity arose to do both in the same episode, you can just tell how massive it'll be! The day starts as Toadie and Dee wake up on their wedding day, Toadie still tied to a bus stop following his Buck's night and Dee badly hung over from her Hen's night. It looks like the pair may never make it up the aisle, but they eventually do, in a civil ceremony at a stately gardens in the outback. The day goes off without a hitch and the happy couple say their farewells and head off to a B&B for the night. On the way, Toadie tells Dee that he's booked them a honeymoon in the Maldives! She is delighted and reaches across to give him a kiss. He kisses her back and takes his eyes off the road for a second. The car goes off the road, skidding across the gravel and off a cliff and into the water below! Both Toadie and Dee struggle to get out of the car but Toadie eventually does, and when he realises that his bride hasn't, he dives straight back in to save her but she's gone! Has she drifted out to sea or survived and done a 'Harold'?

Neighbours has been going down hill since the scully's arrived in 1999.

I don't watch it because I'm at work, but I would if I had a day off, I like the flimsy stupidity of it, and the sheer unrealistic storylines - you just have to suspend disbelief and enjoy!

I like Neighbours as its sorta escapism. Its always hot n all the girls are fit.

Its a great prog to just collapse to after a hard day.

It's never been the same since the Mangles left...... although I must confess to a sneaky appeal towards young Dee. She could share a portion of my carrot anyday!
(Shame she's leaving)

Cant believe they passed up the chance to have her murdered by Darcy. Or at the very least have him responsible for her death in some way..... it would have been the perfect ending to what has been a very long story line between them. I assume Darcy is behind bars when all this occurs?

Shame shes going, all three of her will be well missed, well, two anyway.
