Vodafone upgrade
DavidRobert
02-04-2008
at the end of my Vodafone contract and I went online to see what phones I could upgrade to, and I could get the Nokia N95 8GB for free. However I'm a student living 300 miles from home and they would only send it to my home address as thats where my bank account is registered at, fair enough.

Question is though, if I were to go into the Vodafone shop tomorrow (where my phone/contract was originally bought from), would I be able to upgrade to the N95 there and then for free?

Cheers,
David

You've nothing to lose by wandering in and asking - good luck

usually if you've been a customer for a while they will send it where you like.

Call in, press the option to cancel, speak to "saves" and they can send it anywhere you like for a £3.95 delivery charge.

Be nice to them and may even waive that!!

I never used to charge it lol

Went into the Vodafone shop and they couldn't do the same deal as online.

They wanted £40 for the N95 8GB plus a sign up for 24 months. I probably would have paid 40 quid if I hadn't been online to look first.

In the end I phoned up and the guy on the phone managed to get the same deal as online plus he'd send it wherever I wanted.

So hopefully tomorrow I should have a new phone.

Lovely stuff
