Apprentice' reject failed 18 interviews.

And. What is the point?

Loads of people fail loads of interviews. I think getting a job after 19 interview is good personally.

Agreed- especially for a pupilage. As someone who has considered (and then swiftly reconsidered) a career as a barrister, getting one at all is a huge achievement.

I think if you are ace at what you do, then 19 fails is abysmal.

However, if you are aiming above your mark, then 19 fails or more is very likely.

i think the point was highlighted becuase these people are meant to be the top in the country and failing 18 for these people is bad, certainly for us it is ok, but sir alan wants the best of the best...

What did you like about him, I was open minded but could find very little to like about him?

liked him more after seeing him on your fired, also liked his comeback against Katie Hpokins, felt he was unlikey to get fired, kept his dignity in the boadroom and would have been good to see more of him over the weeks.

Also feel abit sorry for him, all this "I want to punch him" and death threats is very harsh.

For every pupillage application, there are generally 340-450 candidates. There are usually between 2 and 5 places. A fair proportion (well over half) will have straight A's, excellent degrees and work experience coming out of their ears.

It would be unusual if he hadn't failed at a considerable number of interviews - the vast majority of us do before we are successful.

I hate these kind of lazy non-stories. Do your research, digitalspy!
