I've recently been hunting everywhere for some good settings for this TV, and I think that these 2 are the best sets. I wanted to see what everyone else with this TV thought, so here they are. I honestly don't know which I prefer, the first one is way more brighter, but there's something about the second one I keep going back to! Let's hear what you guys think.

get a copy of star wars and follow the THX set up guide. Film settings though will make normal telly viewing darker

its a personal choice

Whatever settings you use make sure you turn Movieplus OFF, it gives a halo effect around objects & make things that move quickly look very poor, it introduces a Lag effect especially when viewing sport.

I tried the THX thing and the second settings were closest to that, but the first set really shows the colour well.

Not too sure what to have it like for my PS3, what do you guys have your's like for gaming?

My reason for deciding to join here was the purchase of the exact same model earlier this week and needing some help with optimal settings. However, I have spent since thursday playing with them and your second set are very close to mine and that seems to give optimal performance atm. We are running it from a Sky+ box on a scart [no aerial connection and no HD equipment as yet]. There is still some issues on some motion stuff, for example, watching aintree and there is a definate pixelation & blurring round the legs and jockey movements and yet F1 Quallifying this morning, looked brilliant

So still working on it and would also appreciate any input from other members about the best settings on this TV.

I prefer the first settings for Gaming, and the second for HD/DVDs etc. Anyone else agree?
