Shazia was clearly never going to be Sur Alan's apprentice so the programme producers sacrificed her in order to keep Jenny Hitler and the Sobbing Lucinda in the programme.

Personally I think that following the candidates' fishy experiences last week, Shazia was in fact a prawn. Jenny was clearly either a shark or a piranha, and Lucinda seemed like a bit of a jellyfish....
