LCD Wall mounts
Hi there,
Another quick question, this time regarding LCD wall stands. Is there such a stand that will not only allow you to tilt the TV whilst in situ, but also allow you to swivel the set? It will be for a 37” set and I’d just like to ability to have the screen flush against the wall or pulled out from the wall. Any advise welcome! Thanks, Charlie |

I've seen such mounts for sale online but have always been dubious about their ability to do the job re. strength of wall fixing required. Any weight away from the wall will put extreme loading on the LCD mount and screws/bolts (i.e. lever effect).

Thanks, Charlie As soulboy77 says, it's puts a LOT of strain on the mounting point - an old solidly built house is probably more suitable than a modern one. |
