Opera Mini 4.1 beta
4.1 is out.
One major improvement is that you can upload files from your phone. Another improvement is that links in emails now work. Before they would just show as text. |

Its a good improvement. I particularly like the ability to save pages. When they have wrinkled out the problems with downloading (next beta?) it will be even better.
Having the app signed is a welcome addition. |

Having the app signed is a welcome addition. Have you tried uploading a photo? I tried uploading one to flickr but it did seem to work. What downloading problems do you have? The in program download didn't work all the time. |

Some types of files are still passed to the phones browser for downloading. They are working on this.
There was a problem with the Opera Servers that caused Uploaded files to be 0 bytes in length. But that was corrected late yesterday. |

Uploading is behaving funny.
When I upload a photo, it uploads, takes ages saying "connecting" then uploads the file again, takes another age saying "connecting", then its 50/50 if the file has uploaded or not. |

Installed this on a Moto Razr Maxx V6..
seems to run alot slower than Opera 4.0. Like the zooming effects and the scrolling is a bit laggy. Anyone else noticed that? |

Strangely, its quicker on my Nokia E61. One of the "joys" of beta testing I suppose.

Works great
Only faults I can find that RSS doesnt work properly (but opera state that themselves) and you cant zoom in and out. Other than that its a great app IMO. |

Zooming in and out only works when "Mobile View" isn't checked. (As there is nothing to zoom to in Mobile View) Just use 5 to zoom in and out.
