Quick answer needed - Iphone
Right i was all set to buy an iphone just now but then the craphonewarehouse tell me that they dont accept my card type, now does anyone know if you buy one online via O2 does it force you to take out a contract when you buy it or keep your details and charge you the monthly tarrif or is it the same, sign-up for the tarrif via the pc when you first plug it in?

no-one should force you to take out a contract. if i were you i'd buy from the apple store (either the real one or the online one). i can guarantee you that there is no question of a contract there.

Cant you try the apple store?
I dount ordering it now (at 5pm) it will get to you by tomorrow! And no, ordering it through the O2 store or through online does not tie you to a contract. All iPhones are bought and then activated later. We dont keep track of who has activated what handset. |

Just take the cash out and pay for it in an O2/Carphone Warehouse/Apple store. I dont see the problem. You get it in your hands tomorrow.... |
