Is it me or are they the worst in the world? This is a company that you have to wait on the blower for atleast 30 mins before anyone picks up your call (Ironic as they are a telecomunications network) and when they do, you are then transferred to another queue. Noone knows what they are doing!

Nope Virgin Media are the worst for me.

They completely p!ss me off. Bloody Richard Branson, too busy buying up the world to take care of his customers.

Don't even get me started on bt. They keep you waiting for ages and then they never do what they say they will do so you have to ring them back.

If you call them early in the morning tho they normally give you an option for you to get them to call you back so at least you aint stuck on the phone for hours.

BT are nothing like the worst customer services. They're way down the list after the likes of Virgin Media , Tiscali, TalkTalk/AOL

I had a nightmare with BT broadband. But I doubt they're the worst.

I have been driven to tears of frustration by BT because of their incompetence and complete lack of customer service. They really are the pits.

I've been pretty pleased with AOL i have to say.

Do not try and even bother ringing BT Broadband because you may aswel ask your neighbour who has no knowledge of the inet. The worst thing is is i end up getting frustrated at the person on the phone, when it really isn't their fault....they haven't been trained properly.

Apart from being annoyed at BT for today's revelations abotu spyware, I have to say I've been very pleased with their service to date. Always friendly and helpful.

Maybe all the spying is slowing down the system.

BT were terrible the first time I tried them on my parents behalf, so dissatisfied I rang back and got first rate service. I guess it is the luck of the draw to a degree, but once I had their attention, I could not fault them.

The problem is that you need to phone at the right time. Lunch times or between 4.30-6pm you're not going to get a great service as the phones at that time are red hot, agents are tired and the priority is to get throught the phones asap. It's best really to ring in the morning or sometime during the day.

I was having a line installed at another property and asked them to cease line at one property. So what did they do? Oh they ceased the line at a completely different property (my home) and I lost my landline and broadband! Lots of apologies etc and my line switched back on within 24 hours; however, I now have to wait 6 days to get my broadband back! Pathetic!

Yes, Virgin Media is NTL/ Telewest and Virgin mobile. Even city analysts used to say that NTL's customer service was just about the worst.
I've been pretty pleased with AOL i have to say.
My experience has been good too...expect when their servers are down but rather than telling people that and say wait, they make people go through the troubleshooter which wastes everyone's time. To be fair I doubt most of the CS staff know when the servers are down but there's usually one or tow who do.

You might have more luck using the high level complaints number: 0845 6080023.

They give me a freephone number that gets straight through to a person, not a computerised system, that person then deals with my enquiry without transferring me to anyone else. So I'm happy with them.

I cancelled my BT Broadband back in August. (I went with Zen Internet). Since moving from BT, they tried charging me £6.50 per month for something connected with BT Vision (which I've never had). After 7 phone calls to customer service, being passed from pillar to post, and a few times having the phone put down on me when I was being transferred to yet another department, I finally got to speak to someone who said that he would refund the 6 months of payments BT had taken from my bank account, and make sure it was cancelled. This he duly did, but as a consequence I started getting demanding letters from BT for the money they'd refunded. It even got as far as them threatening me with a debt collection agency and possible court case. 9 phone calls later, with the same rigmarole of being passed from one person to another and duly being cut off before I got to speak to the person, I eventually get to speak to a lady who sorted it out for me. At least I hope she has. I haven't heard anything since, and its been around 4 weeks now. So, in my opinion BT Customer Service should be done under the trade descriptions act, as they are absolute cr*p.

I still think Orange are slightly worse. Sounds quite close though!

Virgin Media aren't too bad, it's just that they have about 1000 different departments, none of which communicate with each other.

no, Three (3) mobile network have the worst customer service from a company ive ever recieved in my experience..

im not joking, they are a disgrace. ive had huge problems with them for a long time now. the way they speak to me, is wow. today i had 3 different people talking down to me, been sarcastic and not listening to what i was saying or trying in anyway to help me.
and complaining is useless, nothing ever comes of it, and you ask for a written address to write to and complain to and they give you their customer servies address! when they are the people i am wanting to complain about and who have never given me any satisfaction. they seemingly dont have any head office or management to write to, so im going to the 3 shop tomorrow to make my complaints face to face.

3 are a network that like to have their customers regularly jumping through hoops for them.

Must admit it's odd that when you ring up to report a fault on your line, there's not an engineer available to speak with.

Also I don't like the way that you can't get an actual time for an engineer to call e.g. 10am. You only get the choice ofan engineer turning up within a 4 houre window.
