Don't press any of the menu buttons and just hang on - eventually they'll connect you to a customer adviser - that's when the fun really starts !!

Npower are the worst , then BT followed by a few others who couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery.

We had our BT phone line connected today. I must admit I was a bit dubious after reading threads like this on here.
But we rang up to see what we could get. By quoting an offer Id seen on here, we we're able to get half price installation.

The people on the customer support end of things we're perfectly good.
slight ques on the phone lines, but no more than with any other company.

we did have to wait for a few weeks for an installation date. but it was worth the wait.

A very friendly bt openreach technician guy came round. On the morning of the day promised. he was very helpful and explained everything fully. He wired up the line and installed it back to the existing extension sockets for no extra charge. all done to a very high standard. Then tested the line, made sure it was working ok.

It took a bit longer than I expected - but this was because he did such a thorough job.

We, for one (bad grammar?) are very happy customers!

BT?! My phone line went dead sunday morning-was supposed to have an engineer out yesterday-no show, re-arranged for this morning-surprise surprise no show. And trying to get hold of a human on their fault enquiry line is a joke. And every time I contact them I'm given different excuses. Bloody joke.
