Hi

What do you think about this player as i cant afford a blu ray player yet?

Is the quality good and can i use blu ray dvds on this?

It will not play BluRay.

Depending on your TV there may be no improvement over your current DVD player (upscaling may be worse). In all probability there will be little difference.

On my Panny DVDR/TV I get the best picture from 576p rather than 1080i or 720p. However without comparing I couldn't tell you whether the format was 1080i, 576p (via HDMI or component) or even 576i RGB via SCART - it's that close.

If you already have a decent DVD player that doesn't upscale you may be better off just saving your money.
