Hi guys just wondering if you can help me just bought this http://www.consumer.philips.com/cons...tem+HTS3357-05
and was wondering if i can connect it to my V+ box and always have surround sound on available programmes or is SS only on dvd`s that i will be watching hope you can help i am new to this

What has that topic got to do with anything? It's a completely different system to the one the OP (and I) have.

As the HTS3357/05 has only has a Coaxial input for DD/DTS you'll need to buy an optical to coaxial converter (unless you're going to use the red/white leads for basic Pro-Logic). They can be bought for under £11 off ebay.

As Echo1 said, I have a similar sytem and watch normal TV and PVR recordings through the system via red/white phono cables which enables you to get Pro Logic II which in my opinion is pretty good (not as good as DD or DTS obviously).
If ProLogic is not good enough for your needs do as Echo1 says and get a converter.
