Although I said earlier I really don't care about the Oliver role, Jordan is my favourite and Sam is my least favourite (sorry, but I went right off him at the start when they showed the film clips about each boy and all I could think of was 'brat').

Give him a break. He's a 10 year old. ('Very nearly eleven', or whatever he said.) I know quite a few who can behave like that and still have quite pleasant personalities.

In all seriousness, I wonder how they're going to arrange it the week after next? It'll be cruel if the 8 of them are on stage while the 4 are on the steps as a backing chorus! I'm not sure if I even want to see them in the live show - even if they try not to show it, I don't really want to see their dejection...”

Haha.

Seriously, you don't want brothers...bad idea! They might look cute, but...

Haha. I guess they're all a case of street angel, house devil, eh? Sarah's brother was pretty sweet too though, come to think of it.

I think what might have been better is to have one/two take a lead each week with their VTs being shown, so that we can get to know them better, then have 6 of them (so that it'll be half, as opposed to 2/3 of them chosen) being picked at once rather than week by week. It may also make the chosen ones feel less guilty. Or something like that, idk.

Well, I hope the producers have something planned at least...

Commenting on earlier posts, I agree it will be interesting how they direct this 'all important' semi-final. Theres been such a build up to it over the last few weeks. I think the attention will be on the Olivers that week soley because they will have the 8 boys.

It will be interesting to see what they do will the four boys who are not Oliver. It's going to be heartbreaking any way they do it but it seems daft to send they away for one week only to innvevitably come back for the final.

I hope they actually make this semi final good and not just have a group song on both nights as they have done in past weeks. I hope each Oliver gets a solo song to sing. They'll only be 4 Nancy's left by this point anyway so it's not as if they don't have the time for the Olivers lol. I think the boys more than deserve a complete solo each. They've all come so far.

I loved this quote from Available For Panto:

"If I ever have a boy, I'm going to make him dress up like an Oliver. All the time."

lol!

seeing "the Olivers" is the only reason I'm watching this show.

They are all entertaining, have buckets of charisma, lots of talent, can hold a tune and a harmony line, move well, got great timing.................................perhaps they could give the Nancy's some lessons

This is a competition and I am entitled to an opinion and that is the impression I was left with after seeing the clips of all 12 boys.

Who is the small blonde one? He is eyecatching and very good at the dancing. I like all the boys, they are all great and very dedicated. I was sorry that they lost Sarah.

Could also be Gwion.

I love Gwion

I think my final three would be Gwion, Garath and Chester, with Kwayedza, Harry and Jordan as Dodger.... lol!

We've seen John work with the Olivers, I wonder if we'll see Denise work with them this week (Or Barry... )?

I've decided I'd really like to hear the Olivers sing 'Not While I'm Around' from Sweeney Todd. It'd let us see some acting I reckon... make a change from the cheese they usually sing too

Unfortunately thats why my children and I do not like Jordan. He is so stagey its frightening! My youngest calls him "the child catcher" from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - he gets cold shivers when the cameras on Jordan, bless him.

Our favourites are Jonny or Harry but we don't mind really (except Jordan of course) - they have all done really well to get this far and I am sure they will be in the production anyway.

Awww, don't hold Jordan's stagyness against him. I feel the same way in the sense that he is very theatrical so I don't like him as much as say Gareth or Harry. But I'm sure he's a lovely kid.

I really want Gareth to go through next, he's got such a raw talent and has such an emotional depth to him. I don't tend to like football mad kids cos I always hate football at school but Gareth is so much more than a football mad kid. He could be Oliver!

In my opinion, he has the best, most natural stage prescence of them all. He makes me smile.
