Of all of them I'd say I like Lawrence, Jordan and Kwayedza, the others I can take or leave .
These are my favourite three too.

I still like Gwion and Chester but was a bit surprised by tonight's choice. Lawrence is my next favourite but I do admit that all are cute and that's it's a touch choice.

I agree I could think of about 4 others that I would have put through before him. I really do hope Lawrence gets through next too.

I was a bit bewildered by tonight's choice - Arthur never stood out for me voice-wise and his singing style annoyed me a bit in "Electricity". But maybe he's really good at acting or something - we don't know that much about them, after all!

I really hope Harry, Jonny and Alex go through though. They're my three faves!

My favourites are Gwion and Sam. I don't understand why Arther got through tonight as he didn't seem to stand out from the crowd like some of the other little lads do.

I think all the boys can play the role of Oliver brilliantly.

Anyone know what the format for selecting the Olivers is? eg how many in the Semi-Final, whether its one to go each week from the semi-finalists.........

I was also surprised that Arthur was put through, but from a TV viewpoint, it works. They can't have the three winners (as in: given the role) being the first three in the semi-finals.

So either one or two of Gwion/Chester/Arthur probably won't get the role.

They all shone tonight, I thought the performance of Teamwork was a lot better than Electricity.

EDIT: Oh, and the format is eight children are "selected" to go through to the semi-finals. And on that show, they will perform as a group (maybe solos?) and three will be chosen to play Oliver! and one of the others will be a reserve. They will also then probably announce that the other eight "non-winners" are in Fagin's gang - everyone's a winner.

Do you think that in the final, the final 3 Nancy's will all sing a duet with one of the Olivers in a horribly cheesey manner?

I've changed my mind, Jonny is my new favourite. I've just watched the Oliver's peformance of Electricty (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=K7nBXMBZ5qQ) and Jonny and Chester are the two that stand out for me. And Jonny's little smile at the camera is adorable. Love Gwion and Sam as well, their voices are fantastic. Oh, I just love them all!

Sam and Kwayedza are my favourites.

Though casting a black boy in the role of Oliver would cause reality problems. Oliver is supposed to look like his natural mother and that is how he is recognised by his grandfather.

He has a very good voice though. Excellent for such a young boy. I think he would make a great Artful Dodger.

I don’t get Gwion. OK voice, nothing out of the ordinary, he looks like a young Harold Wilson, has a strange posture when he sings and his head's too big for his body.

I am posting this on behalf of Camilla who can't join DS for some reason

"Jonny is my favourite Oliver. I thought he really stood out in Electricity last week and totally owned the camera. Also, the smile he gave at the camera was completely adorable too.
I think he should get through to the Semi Finals next week, as I think he's fantastic. I was a bit confused as to why Arthur got through to be honest. They don't show much of Jonny on camera I've noticed, and I'm not too sure why.
He's lovely and has a great voice, so I think he should be Oliver. Along with Chester."

I'm really not a fan of Gwion

I'm thinking Jordan or Gareth but then again, I'm no vocal expert...

This is cruel, hilarious and true all at the same time (and I'm evil for laughing at it)

Ah, young Arthur. No wonder he does Ju Jitsu, if he attends school in those 'favourite outfits' of his

Actually, they keep telling the girls to get into the character of Nancy, how can they expect these little boys from posh backgrounds to get into the character for Oliver??????

OK out of the three they have sent though, the only 1 i can see playing oliver is Chester.

I think Gwion, although looks perfect fro the part, sounds nothing like a kid from THE MIDLANDS like he is supposed to

Arthurs style of singing irritates me, not saying hes not good as i believe they all are, i just dont get it.

Hopefully Kawyedeza nad Gareth go through, as they along with Chester, are the strongest vocalists

What did you all think about A Whole New World? I really don't think Arthur is that good tbh - Chester really held their part together (as well as Gwion, who seemed to sound less Welsh today - maybe he's trying to lose it?). Anyway, I didn't think it was as good a performance as Electricity...

I'll be happy if any of Harry, Alexander, Jonny or Kawyedeza go through. I don't really care about the others.
