Does anyone know if we will get to know what dates the Olivers are appearing on? I would only want to see Gwion and have not booked tickets yet.

Well, everyone certainly has been busy. I'm just wading through the day's posts. Sorry if my comments seem random but I've got to add my opinions on the news. Firstly, DNY, loved the screencaps, they were excellent.
Good interview on Breakfast too, thank you for posting the link. That interviewer was dreadful though. They all seem really genuine, but I find it funny when Gwion speaks, don't really know why though. Again, thanks DNY (you are becoming a core member of the over-analysis group!) I'm glad their parents were there when they were told, it sounds like an awful scene though. However, they all have great futures and in the words of Winston Churchill (I think) but in rather a different context "It is not the end, it is not even the beginning of the end, but it is the end of the beginning." (Good old GCSE history). This is the start of what I'm sure will be great careers. There have been some great quotes but my favourite is definitely "Its like the River Thames." I think Ashrell covered all of them in 1 post! Loving the fashion talk as well. I think the fashion award has to go to Arthur purely for those pink jeans and the array of hats, although Alex is best dressed with his blazers etc... Well I think I've pretty much caught up ready for the last day before the end. Sorry for churning up old stuff. I don't really mind who I see but am kind of hoping its Laurence because I've backed him from the start |

Thank you for that DNY.Good to see Harry can still get excited by perfroming even though he's a seasoned perfromer in the WE Can't get over how much younger Gwion seems. |

Oh now don't get me started about the Oliver's dress sense! I love talking about their fashion.
![]() I think Jonny by far has the best dress sense, everything always seems to be in place and looks so well put together! (The by-product of having 2 older sisters methinks) :] I also think Alex looks very nice in his blazers. Chester's fab at working the hats and Arthur should be congratulated on wearing those bright pink skinny jeans! Reading through those quotes, they did make me laugh. Jonny's "I got told off for saying thankyou" will stay with me, as will Alex's "It's like the River Thames" when speaking about the gruel! ![]() & Gwion's "No I'm an orphan, I've come to London to make my fortune!" in his adorable Welsh accent is just awesome. |

Maybe we should have the "Oliver" awards. There's a thread for the Nancies so there should be Oliver awards as well for our favourite urchins
![]() Chester should win best smile. Arthur should win best outfit choices. (It always made me laugh how he said "It's not something I'd wear everyday" in the Billy Elliot Task and then we see some of his other choices later on. Alex should win "Best reaction" for his near-heart attack when he was selected. |

Anyone watch the One show a short while ago? This is probs being covered in another thread but...
The final 3 ladies were on. TBH I don't really care which one wins. I think they all have good aspects. BUT most importantly, from the rehearsal clips I can confirm that most of (or all, I'm not sure) the Olivers will be coming back for a performance, along with (I think) all of the other Nancies. So yeah, can't wait till Saturday ![]() Awards sound fun ![]() The effort award goes to Jordan. As does the 'Good sport' award. Most manly award goes to Gwion. I don't know why. It just seems right. Modesty award goes to Laurence. I think Jonny would rake in the awards at a staring contest . Cutest teeth award...definatley chester but they all seem to have good teeth. Chester's remind me of piano keys and I like how you can usually only see the front two. Legend award....Joseph

That would be covered in 'Legend'. As would mis-timed dancing, forgetting words and wearing a matching two piece tracksuit. Everything.
I still have a soft spot for Joseph

Yes, Jordan for best sportsmanship/support/effort/enthusiasm etc.
Gwion for most manly sounds right to me too. (I don't know why, seeing as he looks so young compared to Laurence even though they're both 11 - but he just is. lol) Or savviest. Laurence for best journey/the dark horse award. Kwayedza for the most down-to-earth and all-round awesomeness. Harry for best facial expressions award. Chester - best hat-wearer, best smile, best dancer... etc. Alex - definitely best reaction (though must say I love Harry's reactions too), or quote of the series award. And I would personally give him the most beautiful voice, but that is of course subjective!

This whole fish thing is making me lol
![]() That reminds me, one of the things that made me laugh the most was this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=na3Hm...eature=related The best bit was when the Oliver hopefuls were doing Dodger's lines and that little boy drags his hand across his face. Ahhh, so funny. That line though...'My eyes how green' really got into my head. I keep saying it. And dragging my hand across my face whilst doing so. It's addictive. |

![]() Best voice - Alex (subjective I know) Best dressed - Jonny (apart frm that vest thing!) Most Stylish - Alex (he had some nice shirts lol,and I love his vans) Best reaction - Alex's near heart attack (everyone must agree I'm sure) Most unique - Arthur (I have a soft spot for Arthur so came up with this for him lol) Most camaradory - Jordan for his consoling of others Best dancer - Chester (I think...) Best accent - Gareth (i know lots will say Gwion, but I have a bit of Irish in me,so had to go for Gareth) Most down to earth - Laurence,he seems very quiet and unassuming to me Best task - The abseiling one for me,I love the boys' reaction to this. Especially Joseph's here. |
