I wonder how many of the obsessives would have actually gone to see the musical, though - the TV-watching and theatre-going demographic are quite different. But anyway, I do agree - and the more I think about it, the more I think that the three boys chosen were right in this aspect too - they don't strike me as fragile, and they appear self-assured enough to hold their own and not lose themselves amongst the frenzy of the media.

There is a rumour on another forum that Chester has been offered the part of Gavroche in Les Mis.

I heard that too but it was only on youtube. I can confirm that Jordan has been offered Charlie Bates in Oliver though, although that is pretty old news now.

Is there any confirmation that the other boys are going to be given roles in fagin's gang or something? Surely it would make sense that they would be (unless they're already lined up for something else) as CM has invested so much time and energy in training them up and they know each other so well already?

I'm trying to dig for info on some of the boys about whether they're going to be in Fagin's gang. I'm in the process of finding out whether Jonny is in the gang but as far as I'm aware at the moment, he's not. I'm waiting for information. When I get some, I shall let you know!

Re- Jordan, it was posted on another thread on here by someone who knows the family and i heard from someone who knows him as well. I assumed that it had crept on here too but I was obviously wrong. I don't know if he is going to accept though because he lives quite a long way from London.

Well, if Gareth was offered a part then I can't see why anybody else wouldn't be - they all live a few hundred miles closer, after all! I remember reading that about Jordan, good on him.

I don't think the Chester/Gavroche rumour is true, sadly, not for this June's cast change anyway. But they're having another cast change for the Gavroches in September iirc so that might be a possibility. I'd really want to see him as Michael/Billy though in Billy Elliot

I live in North London and I've not seen any of them. Though my friend is convinced she saw Jonny, and that he was way smaller in real life. But she isn't sure, and I doubt it because it was on Sunday afternoon, and the same Sunday of 'I have a Dream' and surely he wouldn't just be wondering around with his mother when he should be practising!

I really hope Chester gets something. It would make me feel a whole lot better about things.
