Agree DNY, but I don't think they'll get Food Glorious Food. I think it'll be I'd Do Anything, which I'll be happy with - loved the first performance of it on the first live show

Hey, glad to see you back around!

I have a strong feeling it'll be I'd Do Anything too - they're bringing the Nancys back, and it kind of closes the loop as it was their first performance of the series. I'm really looking forward to it as I loved the routine.

I'm so going to miss this show when it finishes

Me too! Especially the Olivers, I never thought I'd take such an interest in them. They really have been a joy to watch, the missions, the performances, everything!

I too am going to miss the Olivers on Saturday nights. I thought they really made the programme what it was and they were a complete delight to watch! They really were stars of Saturday night TV.

Goooooo Olivers! I also am surprised I enjoyed the Olivers, I thought they were going to be dreadful stage school types. Have been re-watching the auditions. I'd forgotten some of the quotes from them. How random was Sam? "My favourite food is probably roast lamb." And Joseph was actually a really good singer.

Looking forward to the duets tonight but i' bet they will be very short, its only a 1 hour show! I don't know how they are going to fit everything in.

Joseph's first auditon really surprised me when I watched it on YT. I thought he was great in it - not sure why that didn't really come across on the show as much.

I thought Alex's audition was marvellous, he's got such a beautiful voice!
Though I found it odd how he never seemed to sing that high again during the show..
& Once he had his hair cut, I thought he looked noticeably older!

I was wondering if any one else had been reading this blog of I'd Do Anything.

http://idbitchanything.blogspot.com/...s-waiting.html

I've been reading each one after the shows, they are written to be really sarcastic, I dont' really the Nancy stuff I just skip to the Oliver stuff. If anyone else does read it, what do you think of it?

Love watching back the original auditions! So funny! There were some others really talented kids there as well!

I think tonight will be rushed.

Solo of Nancy #1
Duet of Nancy #2
Solo of Nancy #3
Duet of Nancy #1
Solo of Nancy #2
Duet of Nancy #3

Then results show

Group number (All nancies/all Olivers)
Olivers on their own
Another solo from both Nancies.

I love the auditions. I thought Alexander was really good at that time - I love his audition song (tears in heaven) and his Where Is Love was memorably good. Joseph was also very good too and I remember Sam's random "roast lamb" comment Didn't realise Jordan sung Electricity and loved Chester's "I make up shows when I'm bored" lol.

As I said before, I wish the BBC will put up the auditions of all the Olivers on the website like they do with the Nancys - I want to hear their full auditions. (it'll be longer than we'd ever get to hear on the main show. )

I've been keeping up with that blog since the start. I'm glad I'm not the only one that skips to the Oliver part I think they were Chester/Kwayedza supporters (well, they didn't take much interest in them anyway, but....).

I doubt the Olivers get to sing a song on their own. Hopefully, but probably not. If they're doing this thing with Lee too, I don't think they'll do one by themselves.
Actually, why do they have to bring Lee into this at all? If the boys sing anything, it should be about them and not about last years winner. It's their show, not Lee's.

I don't like this idea of Lee singing with the Ollies. He'll only overshadow them which is wrong and the judges will just sing his praises.
The Ollies should get to sing on their for 1 final time, they deserve it!

Oh yes, Sam's "Roast Lamb" comment comes flooding back to me. It was incredibly random at the time and seemed to have no relevance to anything at all.

I remember Chester's audition, since he sang Defying Gravity and I'm a huge Wicked fan. & Jonny's audition singing Expressing Yourself from BETM was also memorable, along with Arthur's Close Every Door!

Oh, I thought it was so very brave of Chester to sing Defying Gravity for his audition! That song can either make or break it for you! Wow!

I't sooo sweet when Gareth gets his scroll!

I also love when Gwion goes, 'I come from Wales', as if that wasn't obvious!

I remember watching the Nancy School show and when they showed Chester singing 'Defying Gravity' I said to my mum "He HAS to win, just because he sang Wicked!"

Oh I remember Gareth - he just went "Oh my god" and hugged his footie coach. I thought it was incredibly endearing!

I too am not amused by the Olivers-being-brushed-aside-for-Lee thing that might happen tonight. I reckon the most we'll see is:

- Opening number, I'd Do Anything - all 12 boys and 12 Nancys
- The final three doing duets (probably be about 2 seconds anyway, knowing them!)
- Lee & the other 9/maybe all 12 doing a song with Lee in centre stage....... (as long as it's not the song Any Dream Will Do it'll be tolerable, I suppose.)

From watching all the boys auditions, I can see why each of them got through to the live shows. They all have great voices. Especially Alex, I wish they would put his full audition on YT.

I don't know if they are doing anything with Lee, it was just something i read in article about Laurence. i hope they aren't. I loved Jordan's "bursting" in his electricity audition. Really kind of sums him up, a very (if not too) dramatic performer.

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys the show, I can never do DS and watch so I'll be back on later after the results and Britain's Got Talent (Come on George!). I can't believe it is the end of the show. Hopefully, we will get some good Oliver performances tonight, before the reminiscing(sp?) and the countdown to the show begin. Hope everyone gets their Nancys too (although I admit, this is impossible) *cough - come on Sam - cough*

I don't really care which Nancy wins, though would prefer Jessie or Jodie.

I'm off now too - I'll be back after the first live show for more in-depth discussion before the results show. See you guys later!
