Incidentally, is anyone watching Roman Mysteries? I had a flick through it while I was at home the other day (I'm ill, so I have an excuse for watching daytime TV ). Harry's really quite good in it, considering he doesn't speak - although the main character girl really irritates me!

Watched it the other day (I was with my eight year old sister though!)

I thought Harry showed some really good acting skills, though of course it's quite hard to judge when he doesn't say anything! But yeah, I thought he was great

And the girl grates on me too!

Do we know which Oliver will be performing opening night yet?

Is this series 1 or 2o f Roman Mysteries on CBBC,cos the article DNY kindly scanned said the 2nd series starts 8th July.

So are they re-running Series 1 first?

Series 1 was running every day this week, just as a recap, on CBBC. I think Series 2 will start next Tuesday, presumably every week. Unusually for a kids drama, they mentioned it briefly on my TV Guide (you know, on those double page spreads where they highlight the picks of the day) - presumably because of Harry becoming famous n' all on IDA. (though they said his name was Harry Scott. lol.) I might tune in to Series 2 for a bit. I hear Harry's shooting some more this summer, so I'm assuming there'll be a Series 3 as well? All in all, a busy year ahead for him!

Hey everybody, gosh I feel like I've been away for years! I had like 6 pages of posts to catch up on! I banned myself from the computer during my exams and then went on holiday with my family, so that's why I haven't been around!

Good to know there is still Oliver news comming in (I'd appreciate any PMs of the stuff people didn't post publically, if that's ok ) and I'm afraid I have nothing to add, but bless them all going camping together! I really like how they're all such good friends, it would've been pretty easy for the boys to end up resenting each other having got to know each other in such a competeitive environment. It's a credit to both themselves and their parents that they chose to support each other instead!

Did we ever find out who the official understudys are? Maybe I missed it...

Agree wholeheartedly with you on this, Lia, their support of each other and enduring friendship is lovely to see. Hope they have fun.

Still no word on official understudies, or official anythings actually, from Cameron or the production, I guess they're getting contracts sorted or they're holding off announcing anything until nearer the time in order to get some more press nearer to the show actually opening. Darn frustrating though, whatever they're playing at.

Have sat through 2 and a half hours of Roman Mysteries and agree that Harry's a great little actor, and that the main girl is highly annoying, although you do get used to her. Also some of the extras are unnecessarily camp - the main pirate fella and the secretary in Rome require special mention. Harry is mighty cute as a mute though, just great. Think it must be on all next week too as there's supposed to be 5 stories and they all seem to have 2 parts. It's a big commitment. Just as well I've nothing better to be doing with my time.

I know of one of the boys who is waiting for permission from his school before he can confirm that he'll be in the show.

Well a while ago I found out who they are but wasn't allowed to say anything until it was confirmed by 1 of the boy's family members. Then I got confirmation by somebody else who knows 1 of the other boy's family.

Hopefully the school will come through. I'm in Ireland and even my local geography is atrocious so about how far is Warwickshire from London, in train hours? Alex and Chester live pretty close don't they? If Gareth, Jordan and Gwion's schools are okay with the arrangements then surely a school closer to London would agree? Or, worst case scenario, the Oliver in question will just have to change schools. All 12 have to be on board. We need to see them.
