They're not, but I will be able to get the figures if it's of interest.
I just wondered, as there used to be 2 repeats iirc, on Sunday and then on Friday, and now there's only one, which if they were counted in the overall ratings would skew the final figures a bit! |

Whatever happened to "live plus 7" figures that were going to arrive late 2011? (ie iplayer + live viewing + timeshift for 7 days after broadcast).

Good question. What did become of Live +7 ? I had thought the BBC intended to publish these?
9.65m (8.33m) - Asylum of the Daleks 8.64m (7.57m) - Dinosaurs on a Spaceship 9.22m (8.42m) - A Town Called Mercy 8.68m (7.67m) - The Power of Three 8.92m (7.82m) - The Angels Take Manhattan |

Viewing figures are pretty good though, especially considering people say the last episodes were so bad.

Only 5 million for doctor who yesterday.... interesting to see the breakdown to elucidate how the BGT clash affected it.

It was a bad result in 2011 and its a bad result now - this is only episode 4 of this run after all - hopefully it doesn't go any lower.

Break down of DW across it's slot from the ratings thread:
http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...&postcount=872 18:45 - 4.76m (26.4%) 18:50 - 4.88m (26.7%) 18:55 - 5.07m (27.4%) 19:00 - 5.07m (24.6%) 19:05 - 5.03m (23.5%) 19:10 - 5.08m (24.4%) 19:15 - 5.06m (23.8%) 19:20 - 5.10m (22.7%) 19:25 - 4.80m (22.3%) Couple of tiny dips but overall it increased across it's slot. Note: the 19:25 five minute slot will include the bit after the show has ended |

People like you get me so annoyed. Its not really a bad result. It was up against BGT and got 5m. and will most probably timeshift to around 7m. how is that a bad result. It won't go down it will stick around the 5-5.5m figure then will go to 6m for the final then hopefully the 50th + Christmas special will get an overnight of 7-8m in the colder weather
I was driving about yesterday evening and the pubs were really busy with people outside enjoying the weather; in Tesco people were buying BBQ stuff for um, well BBQ's quite possibly ![]() There will be a good time shift - final figure will be around 7m - if not higher. |

Interesting to see what Yog101 1st day time-shift will be. If it's over 1m we should get a 2m time-shift. I hope! |

Astonishing, really, that the BBC will change its entire Saturday evening schedule to protect The Voice from a BGT clash - and instead puts one of its only really original, high quality family dramas up against it instead.

Let's hope The Sun will publish a story about how much better many people thought the last couple of episodes were and how the show is recovering from its "slide".
I'm not holding my breath though... |

It's dumbfounding - especially in its 50th anniversary year. The show wasn't trailed at all this week either.
And the break down doesn't really support the idea that BGT had much of an impact. I'd say it's 70% weather, 30% BGT at most. However much we love Doctor Who, we have to understand that it cannot always be the BBC's priority. |

Putting a show like Doctor Who up against BGT says a lot more about Doctor Who than a lot of people seem to think. If they're happy to put it up against the likes of BGT then they are clearly still displaying a confidence in the brand. It's when they start trying to avoid Doctor Who clashing with BGT that we should be worried.

Doctor Who - 7.37m (overnight: 5.72m)
Cold War ended up timeshifting slightly better than expected actually - still down about 400k on the timeshift audience on Akhaten though. Assuming the timeshift audience remains steady Hide will probably timeshift to about 6.65. |

Final ratings for Cold War were 7.37 million, with a timeshift of 1.64 million. While the timeshift is indeed a little down than of late, it did better than was being predicted in this thread a few days ago.....
