Oh bugger.”

I really wish she would come back again, I loved the character. Kind of like a Time Lord Buffy. What's not to love?

I guess you don't like Martha, either? I liked her too

Also comedy Donna

I guess it takes all sorts

Currently pacing ahead of Mummy, Listen and Time Heist (which just missed out), so looks like we're heading towards 7.1 - 7.2m

Heh. Like that expression. Weellll, we all need some psychological reassurance sometimes. Especially those of us who can remember the Time(slot) Wars of 1987-1989.

Edit: For the teenagers, that was the time when Who was slaughtered by a Soap. Not any more.

Another Edit: Gawd, that sounded patronising! Got the "one for the teenagers" bit from Tony Hancock when he used to do an impression of the long deceased George Arliss.

It's getting around 2m TS. If we could just get those casual viewers back we could be getting 7.5m finals imho.

Excellent overnights. Good to see they picked up after a little dip.

Thats a good result, I was a little worried about the duel impact of halloween parties and fireworks last night, so good to see an increase. Should be an excellent time shift this week due to the nature of the cliffhanger, and hopeful we will see another jump next week.

The words "The Master is back" should pique a decent timeshift - even if it ends up being spoiled for those who didn't watch overnight

Solid figure about on par with where it's been. Looks like this series will end up continuing the trickle downward trend in ratings overall. Nothing drastic, but does mean we're unlike to see any massive change either way until the showrunner changes. (Although the ratings story of the night is clearly the one for Pointless!)

Oh that's good. Probably surpass 7m as the week goes on I think.

Previous Episode 11 / Episode 12 (since it's Finale Part 1, it's only fair to include both):

Quote:
“Overnight -> Finals

Boom Town: 7.13m -> 7.68m
Bad Wolf: ??? -> 6.81

Fear Her: 6.6m -> 7.14m
Army of Ghosts: 7.66m -> 8.19m

Utopia: 7.3m -> 7.84m
The Sound of Drums: 6.9m -> 7.51m

Turn Left: ??? -> 8.09m
The Stolen Earth: 7.4m -> 8.78m

The Lodger: 4.6m -> 6.44m
The Pandorica Opens: 5.38m -> 7.57m

The God Complex: 5.2m -> 6.77m
Closing Time: 5.3m -> 6.93m

The Crimson Horror: 4.61m -> 6.47m
Nightmare in Silver: 4.7m -> 6.64m”

Nine years, ups and downs, but no plummet - how far we've come Good to see the BBC doing so much better on a Saturday compared to when the series began Hooray for Pointless!
