Those are pretty healthy ratings for sure and it seems a good night across the board for ratings (I'm especially pleased that Pushing Daisies did really well too). I always find it odd that so many people tune in for the credits, I guess those are the people who tune in just to see the "Next Week" bit. Didn't actually bother watching myself so I was one of the 0.2 million

LOL I just found it.

It had a response of 1 post from the moderator who refered to the "ghost" thread then closed it.

Perhaps they are the people with no real interest in DW switching on the TV early so that they are ready to catch the next programme?

And not only watching but still spouting the same old nonsense. S/he started a new thread with this post at 9:37 last night:

And s/he posted this in the episode thread at 10:34, after the previous thread was closed by a moderator:

I can't believe Britain's got Talent was the most watched programme of the day - have these people got no taste?

Some of you are displaying very unhealthy signs of Dervish obsession. Stalking a banned forum member across the internet is just plain weird

If you can't kick a man pretending to be a woman when they're down, when can you?

I agree. I've got Dervish on my 'Ignore' list, but it doesn't block people 'quoting' his comments in their own post. It is really annoying as I have no interest in his opinions.

hi everyone,

I've noticed people keep talking about this guy dervish and an "Infamous" thread.

Can anyone spill on what this thread was on and what did he do?

Oh yes, i've seen this thread before around the forum but never felt the need to look in it because i love Doctor Who and Catherine Tate.

But i just looked into it for the first time....and my word....there's nothing but bickering in there by this "Dervish". Why do they keep saying whether he is a boy or a girl?

Well in my sixth form, i've got a guy called Dervish so i'm pretty sure that is a boy that created that thread.

I've never seen a thread like that where a forum member is constantly argueing. He must be properly banned now.

Fires of Pompeii ratings are in :- 8.1 Million, 36.7% Share. 2nd most watched programme of the day. Lower ratings despite the later time slot, but 8.1 million is still a healthy number. Source Outpost Gallifrey.
From the breakdown, there does seem to be a build up of viewers around the 6.45pm/7pm mark which I guess it what RTD has spoken about.

Nice to see a big switch off at 7.30pm when 'I'd Do Anything' came on, though. Is it mean spirited for me to think 'serves them right!'?

Not at all....what I think is clear is the silly Graham Norten show should be the gateway to Saturday night, not Doctor Who, which should follow it.

But that said I don't really mind as long as Doctor Who isn't shifted to a pre-6pm time slot, which would just be silly!
