Which 42" Display to buy
Hi everyone,
My first post so please be nice! I'm going to upgrade my 32" HD samsung and I need some help with deciding which TV to get. I'm limited to 42 inches by the size of my front room (and the missus moaning!). I've got SKY HD and mostly watch sports on it. Also some HD gaming and will shortly be getting a PS3 for the Blu-Ray player. So the question is, if money was no object which TV would be the best to get for ultimate picture quality?? This one seems to be a pretty good choice: PANASONIC TH42PZ85B http://www.totaldigital.biz/index.ph...oducts_id=2475 But what advise do you all have?? Cheers. |

Welcome!
I have a Panasonic TH42PZ700B, and I am really pleased with it. I made the mistake of going for LCD when I first got Sky HD, but soon realised its limitations, especially a very poor usable viewing angle. Plasma is better in every respect IMO now, and you won't go wrong with a Panasonic. There are many who say that the Pioneer plasmas are better, but they are more expensive. My Panasonic TV looks great to me, and if the Pioneers are that much better to justify the extra cost I would be surprised.

You did say money was no object. The Fujitsu's (they are stopping production I think) are generally reckoned the best with Pioneer some way behind.
Pannies tend to be decent value for money and decent quality. |
