I know, I know, its not real cream - but I must confess that I occasionally like some Dream Topping.

Anyway, I opened a packet of Dream Topping yesterday, and started to mix it, when I realised that it went out of date in December . Obviously I chucked it, but it got me to thinking, would it have done us any harm - it is, after all, a dry powder stored in a foil packet?

It is so rarely that I use the stuff, I wonder if I have made it up in the past without realising that it was out of date, and we've actually eaten it

I love it, I once made a trifle and made some Dream Topping for it (as you do ) but ended up eaten All of it !

I'm not sure if it would make you ill if it was out of date
