Now im not sure if its true like with all rumours and im not sure if the information has already been posted but there is a rumour that

Spoiler
Both Gwen and Ianto will be guest starring in the Doctor Who series four finale

Which makes sense since

Spoiler
Captain Jack is returning for the finale, with Tosh and Owen gone i dont think Jack would leave them behind to look after Cardiff on their own.

Plus

Spoiler
They are Torchwood and they will want to assist in helping the Doctor, Donna, Martha and Rose in saving the world

Sorry but those 2 berks should be kept well away from Doctor Who.

Why are you so damn critical of torchwood? Why do you watch it if you dislike it so much?

I personally would be ecstatic if I saw them in Doctor Who.

Personally I liked this series of Torchwood but really disliked those characters. If only they's have been the two to be killed off.

There are rumours about possibly everything that could happen

I would love this to haopen but what about the people that dont watch Torchwood. it would'nt make sence for them. thay would have to have a small part!

now they have slimmed down the cast a bit, I wouldnt rule it out

Let's face it, they currenly seem to be the only two people from the Doctor Who universe NOT to be appearing in the finale at the moment, so why not? Sarah Jane should bring along Clyde, Maria and Luke too.

Tough shit on them! I would think that most dr who fans would watch Torchwood. If you like lighthearted sci-fi then you would. Except the younger ones who wouldnt be allowed to see all the gay stuff by their parents. I know that for a fact as I have a friend whose kids would LOVE Torchwood but the mum wont let em see it because of the gay stuff going on.

That's an appalling reason not to watch it - I personally don't know anyone who wouldn't let their children watch it because of the gay stuff but then I don't know anyone who's actively homophobic (I live a sheltered life). I do know several who won't let them watch it because of all the violence and that seems a good reason for young kids.

Most parents don't let their kids watch Torchwood because of the violence, they don't care about the gay stuff!

As it should be - unless some places where showing a nipple is a greater offence than even the worst of violence

It does make sense. Wouldn't it be more time consuming for RTD to sit there and think of ways to get Jack back but not Gwen and Ianto for the ride. He's having everyone else, if I was him id just say screw it and have the lot lol. Plus if the
Spoiler
Mickey Martha
rumours are true then the Torchwood team could be established in the final ready for series 3.

I still can't see how they're gonna reconcile the ending of TW with Jack's appearance in Who. Either a LOT of time will have passed for him to get over the deaths or else he'll be miserable as sin! And why hasn't he bothered to recruit replacements yet, are Martha and Mickey (according to rumours) really the only people he wants? I stand by my theory that Jack is just going to create a companion support group!

Well I'm half please if the first part is correct (and no so much if the latter is)

given that RTD hinted a few weeks back that members from TW might visit DW, then I would say this is a safe bet.
Spoiler
I wonder if The Doctor will comment on the Gwenyth/Gwen similarity?

That makes quite a bit of sense to me:

Spoiler
If TW is going to have to fill the DW breach in 2009 then its a good idea for DW viewers to have actually met the pair of them.

Plus, it works better storywise if they come with Jack - I can't imagine that he'd want to leave them after the events of 2.13 - or that they'd let him go!

And from the sounds of it, the Doctor and crew could do with all the help they can get - Despite his feelnigs about TW i'm sure he wouldn't say no to extra hands.

I'm quite excited about it -
Spoiler
I love crossovers!

rumour has it madonna will be in dr who as herself. and victoria beckham (these are just rumours) since Dr who has began many years ago with the first doctor there has been many special guests. So far torchwood has not gone down that track yet.. Many famous actors have requested to be in the show and will continue too because again it enhances there credibilty. i do rem, ember one such guest only a few years ago actually sent a letter to the BBC almst begging to appear and appear for free. such is the importancy of being in the program. i think this actor actually was a fan since childhood and wanted always to appear in the show

I think recruiting for Torchwood might a bit of time and is a bit more complicated than asking someone from the Jobcentre if they want to work for a top secret organisation in a sewer with no normal life and precious little chance of making it to 30! If there are mugs available like Martha or even Mickey or PC Andy then it sounds like a good idea, at least temporarily.

Crikey! recruiting PC Andy would make Series 1 Micky look like Einstein!

Please let this not be true, I think that will probably stop me watching it. Appearances by superb actors such as Derek Jacobi are great but cameo appearances by people who are famous for being famous is not.
