I love pie, I don't have it often, so when I do it's a real treat! I have had a delicious creamy chicken one from M&S. Served with shredded cabbage, creamy mash, and loads of gravy. Delish! I hate the cheap pies which are all pastry and hardly any meat. Dessert-wise, it just has to be apple pie, with NO sultanas, and the apples have to be soft all the way through. MMMMMM!

Steak and Ale,
Cowman's pie,
Hunter's pie,
Shepards pie,
Cottage pie.

I love pies but I hate most pastries so I can only have it if it's got puff pasty on top.

One of my school dinner favourites was corned beef and potato pie. I've tried making it myself but it's never as good.

Anyone got a good corned beef & potato pie recipe?

I remember that from school too, and sometimes I make it. It's never quite as I remember it, but not far off. I put potatoes, carrots, onion, stock cubes, corned beef, salt & pepper into a pan. Simmer until cooked, chuck it all into a medium sized roasting tin, and put pastry on top - a very easy, tasty dish.

Hope this helps
