I am sad she has gone , I think she had real potential .

What they see in Niamh I really don't know , nor Samantha and Tara .

Hmm I did not see that coming (for Cleo at least!)... and I agree with some of the others - Keisha's experience got her through, although in the mid section, neither of them did that song ANY justice.... K got a lucky escape (as did Tara)...

I was wondering all day who Niamh reminded me of... and I got it from some random Eurovision thread in another forum... a young Sally Ann Triplett! Cue ALW giving her something like One Step Further to sing at some stage

ALW shouldn't have the final decision, Keisha should have and would have been out tonight if it was based on the public vote alone..

That was a bloody brilliant final performance from Cleo...oh, this really is ludicrous she had way more potential than Keisha.

That was totally the right decision based on the sing-off.

I actually really like Ashley! This week's performance seemed a bit off, but she's one of three I could actually envision as a Nancy.

And before anyone brings up the "Scottish Vote", don't bother!

I'm voting for her too.

Bearing in mind two out of three judges had stated that they didn't think Keisha was Nancy I would agree with Bonny.

Interesting that ALW effectively said that the wrong ones were in the the bottom 2 - message to the public

Yet again ALW chooses the weaker contestant, the one who deserved in the bottom two and out of the competition, against the one who didn't deserve to be there, the stronger contestant who would pose more of a threat to the chosen one.

Aside from that, who is voting for the disgusting Tara?

agree I was gutted she went out (I knew yesterday coz I peeked) there are a few who should have gone before either of those girls though. Neither sang that last song particularly well - but Cleo sang 'As long as he needs me' very well I thought.

Why should they? She didn't deserve to be saved and they have a right to make their feelings known.

Each time I see them perform, there get fewer and fewer who I can see as Nancy I really don't think they're as strong overall as the finalists on the previous 2 ALW shows.

I predicted Cleo to go actually, mainly because out of all the girls she had the longest way to go, they can say all they like about having a rough Nancy but in the end it will go to the ones that have the training.

I have to say I was more interested in that task, it really showed up the weaknesses in a couple of favourites (Jodie, Jessie and Sam), and why experience is so important. Looking at that task and the rest of the show its seems only Sarah is both consistent enough and a good enough allrounder for the part... and even she is hardly the perfect fit for Nancy

I liked Ashley last night. I don't think she's really good enough but much prefer her to the likes of Rachel, Samantha and Niamh. I don't "get" them at all!!!

I would say Jessie

Here we go again.

Stop now, please, for your own sake. You're embarrassing yourself.

Yeah but she was shown to be really weak in the acting task, so I don't think it is her, the 'chosen one'... or to put it more accuratly the 'insurance policy' (ala Lee or Connie) is clearly Rachel.

I would say Rachel. I think she is very very average but she gets nothing but praise. Acting wasn't bad but the singing is very screechy. She wasn't quite as bad last night as last week's horrors but I cannot bear her as a performer.

I also noticed that Keisha rushed off without a hug or a word for Cleo.

I had to blink back a tear for Cleo - I really liked her

Although I liked Jessie's performance last night - after the task I think Fran has become a front runner again.

John Barrowman was on Paul O`Grady show last week and he said for this part of Nancy they were looking for someone who showed the biggest improvement week on week, rather than someone already experienced in acting and performing. So the task tonight is of no significance as they will improve week on week and that is what the judges will be looking for.

I agree Olga- Jessie and Rachel seem to be the chosen ones- I will be interested to see the song choices for next week because tonight underlined how important that is for the girls.

Also whoever does the choreography for the songs- some have little or no impact and some are just plain dire.

Still wouldn't pay money to see them-- and yes I know its an ensemble but they are relying on the show to bring in the punters are they not?

One difference is Becky is more attractive or at least the actress who plays her is.

Has anyone else noticed that Niamh keeps doing this strange arm thing when performing, like shes pulling back a bow and arrowing and leaning back. I've seen her do it three times now. Its quite bizaare.
