I hadn't realized until today that Oliver starts in December - giving nearly 6 months for rehearsing - rather than the 6 weeks or so for the Sound of Music and Joseph. With those two shows it was important to have someone who could cope with getting on with it straight away. However, with Oliver having the 6 months run up any Nancy would have heaps of time to continue developing after IDA finishes.
This may be why the Lord was so upset regarding saving Keisha over Cleo - "I don't think tonight is actually the right result". I had thought that Cleo (along with Jessie) had the raw talent that AWL keeps wanting Nancy to have.
Maybe the "chosen one" is not a one, but any of the non-professional/drama student graduate?
