I really love Strawberries and Cream Haagen-Dazs. It's the one with chunky bits of strawberry and is nothing like the Strawberry Cheesecake variety.

The only place I can find it is when I order a takeaway and they have a small tub as dessert option.

Does anyone know where I can get a full-sized tub of it? I have looked in Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's but to no avail.

Have you seen it anywhere? Or has it been discontinued? I hope not!

I haven't been able to find this for years - the only time i think I can recall getting it was in a multipack of icecreams from Sainsburys - and even that was a long time.
It is one of my fave ice creams too - very yummy - and i have not been able to find a nice substitute since!

Awww, Mel, you've just answered my next question: 'is there a suitable substitute?' It just gets worse, doesn't it

I have spent the last couple of years investigating - I am almost certain though that if you go to Blockbusters stores they still sell the small pots of strawberries and cream - I dont' know why no one does the big ones though - a small one never seems quite enough does it? LOL

It works out so expensive for those little tubs, though doesn't it? About two quid each! Then again, it seems to be our only option. Then again (again!) if I had a big tub I'd scoff the lot and ruin my diet.

Last time I got this ice cream was sometime last year, it had 'Official ice cream of Wimbledon' written on it so maybe it's only out around that time of year (June-July).

M&S do a Strawberries and Cream flavour ice cream. I have no idea if it compares, but it might be worth a try.

Morrisons or Farmfoods is usually where I get it from. Asda might have some, but I don't go into my local Asda; so can't be too sure.
