Competition Seems More Open This Time

Connie was the obvious Maria from day one as was Lee the most-likely Joseph.
This time, I think there is more competition and I feel it may be
more entertaining this time round.

I agree. I didn't watch Maria, but the top 2 were obvious to me from the start, although it surprised me when Daniel went out.

I can't see a stand-out performer on IDA just yet, although I like Jessie a lot (but she's soooo young!).

I agree! There are a few who stand out but there's more of them!

I wasn't really there for the initial Maria and Joseph programs and I keep hearing some people saying that they thought Lee and Connie were 'it' when they appeared on screen----was it really that obvious they were the best? Judging by the appreciation threads in the Joseph/Maria forums, it seems other contestants had their share of fans too.

I figure the reason no obvious Nancy has come forward is because they there has been so few performances for us to judge by and that once the show gets moving, favorites would start appearing.

I didn't like Connie myself, but it was obvious pretty early on that she was "The Chosen One", always lavished with praise (and she was pretty shocked the one week the panel were a bit iffy about her!). Lee stood out as well, although it was obvious that ALW favoured Lewis over him - as indeed he favoured Helena.

Its was obvious from his comments on Sunday that ALW thought the wrong girls were in the bottom 2, so he obviously rated them higher than some of the others.

This time its far more obvious who the WRONG girls are, rather than an obvious front runner, although I think the chosen one this time is Rachel
