Doctors use of premium rate lines
Just got an email pointing to this.
Although it seems that the PM's office does not realise that, from the cost POV, there is no such thing as a local call, they are saying that calls to GP's should cost no more than such a call. As a local call now costs most of us either nothing (included) or ~5P (setup charge with 1899, etc.), this could work in our favour. I'm going to write to the local practice manager and the local paper pointing out that our health centre is in breach of that 'rule' and asking what they are going to do about it. |

Just to say they are not using Premium Rate Lines (ie 090) but national non-geographical 0870 numbers.
