When I moved overseas we had to minimise what we brought over with us and I got rid of loads of stuff by selling it at car boot sales etc. But I sold two recipe books against the advice of my husband as I only used a few of the recipes and was convinced I knew them off by heart!

For a change he was right and I was wrong. I am desperately trying to find a Chick Pea Stew recipe from a Weightwatchers Vegetarian recipe book which I bought new in the late 90s.

I also want the recipe for a chicken and cherry tomato pasta dish which was in the very first Ready Steady Cook book.

Can anyone help?

I managed to get a very old Home and Freezer Digest last year from Abesbooks....might be worth trying on there.

I'm looking for a recipe my old Granny used to make, who was from Halifax.

It was for 'Rum Butter'.

Ah, cheers.
I do vaguely recall her grating nutmeg.

The secret will out.
